Hosea Counseling Services is a private practice serving clients in and around Brunswick, Georgia, and online to Georgia residents. We prioritize creating a therapeutic atmosphere that promotes growth and positive change for you. We provide both faith-based and non-faith based counseling services, dependent upon your request. Our practice believes in a holistic approach of mind, body, spirit, and soul. We look forward to working with you to address your challenges and realize your goals. Owner & Therapist
Kristen Keene, MS, LPC
Kristen is a Licensed Professional Counselor, EMDR Therapist and Certified Life Coach with a Master’s of Science Degree in Psychology. Kristen has a passion for helping trauma survivors walk in freedom and gain tools to live a healthy and fulfilling life. It is her honor to partner with you to bring you into clarity, healing and wholeness.
Kristen specializes in working with those struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, PTSD, grief & loss, self esteem issues, relationship issues, obsessive-compulsive disorder & more. She uses a variety of approaches to address her client’s unique needs, such as Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Somatic Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Faith-Based Therapy and Holistic Therapy. She will move you toward a tailored treatment plan and approach that includes coping tools to help sustain the growth experienced in therapy.
Additionally, Neuroscience research reveals that individuals who practice self-compassion & mindfulness techniques are happier, more resilient, and better equipped to heal painful memories from the past. It is Kristen’s honor and mission to help her clients move past what’s blocking them from reaching their full potential individually and in their relationships.

Claudia Luna, LMSW, LICSW
Claudia Luna is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in the state of Georgia, a Licensed Clinical Independent Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Washington, and a certified Master (ART) (Accelerated Resolution Therapy) Practitioner. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.
As a therapist, Claudia’s primary goal is to provide a safe counseling environment where clients can freely process their thoughts, feelings, and personal choices. She is dedicated to providing support, resources, and guidance on the path to overall wellness. Claudia understands that therapy can be challenging, but she believes healing is possible in a compassionate and non-judgmental setting. She hopes that clients feel supported, encouraged, and empowered as they navigate changes and challenges in their lives.
Claudia’s therapeutic orientation includes a variety of integrated techniques grounded in a non-judgmental Christian value system, including person-centered, cognitive-behavioral, strength-based, and solution-focused therapies. She believes in the client’s capability to uncover their true potential and that healing can begin as they identify and change negative behaviors and thoughts that negatively influence their outlook on self and life.
Deeply committed to her clients, Claudia approaches therapy with openness, curiosity, and compassion. She considers it an honor to walk with clients wrestling with trauma, anxiety, depression, mood disorders, grief and loss, relationship issues, and other difficult life adjustments. Ultimately, her goal is to empower clients as they navigate their journey toward mental health and overall well-being.
Claudia is accepting private pay and out of network clients using thrizer. She will be accepting other major insurances soon!
Office Assistant
Vikki West
Vikki is our new Office Assistant. She moved to the Golden Isles from Ohio in 2012. She has two adult sons, Ryan and Jared, with daughter-in-laws Kenzie and Sarah. Since moving here, she has worked at the International Seafarer’s Center and Jekyll Harbor Marina. She is able to deliver valuable services and always ready to help. She is excited to join the team.
