Hope & Healing for the Hurt.

Schedule an Appointment

Thank you for your interest in starting therapy with us.

Our practice is focused on trauma-informed, structured therapy using EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and inner child work. We are not a traditional talk therapy practice.

If you’re looking for deep emotional healing and are ready to do meaningful work in and outside of sessions, we may be a great fit.

When you request an appointment through our client portal, you will first be asked to complete a brief form that gathers your reason for seeking care, insurance information, and mental health history.

➡️ Please complete that step fully.

After that, our office will follow up with a few additional pre-screening questions to ensure we’re a good therapeutic fit before confirming your appointment.

You can choose to complete the follow-up questions by phone or email.
📧 If you prefer email instead of a phone call, please let us know by writing that in the “Message to Provider” section during your online appointment request.

Pre-Screener Questions You’ll Be Asked via Phone or Email:

  1. What brings you to therapy at this time?
  2. Are you looking for:
    • A space to talk and vent each week
    • Tools and support for deep healing work
    • I’m not sure yet
  3. Which of the following best describes your experience with coping tools and personal growth?
    • I have coping tools, and I actively use them
    • I have coping tools, but I struggle to use them consistently
    • I’ve tried therapy or self-help but need support using tools
    • I don’t have any coping tools yet, but I’m open to learning
    • I’m not interested in learning or using coping tools
  4. Are you ready to explore childhood experiences, emotional wounds, and inner parts of yourself, even if it may be uncomfortable at times?
    • Yes, I’m ready
    • I’m open but nervous
    • No, I don’t want to go into the past
  5. Do you prefer a therapist who:
    • Actively guides sessions with a structured approach
    • Just listens while you talk
    • Gives advice and tells you what to do
  6. Are you willing to practice coping skills or reflection exercises between sessions to support your growth?
    • Yes, I understand therapy requires outside work
    • Maybe, I want to try
    • No, I only want to work on things in session

If it turns out that your needs may be better served by a different type of therapist, we’ll offer referrals to help you get connected with someone who’s the right fit.
