Our practice is focused on trauma-informed, structured therapy using EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and inner child work. We are not a traditional talk therapy practice. Our work is designed to support deeper emotional and nervous-system healing in a more intentional, focused way.
Kristen’s practice is structured around extended 90-minute therapy sessions and EMDR intensives. This longer-session model allows more time to slow down, explore patterns, process experiences, and create meaningful therapeutic momentum without feeling rushed. However, if you prefer traditional 60-minute sessions, it is available as well.
Extended 90-minute sessions are ideal for clients seeking deeper emotional work, trauma healing, and lasting change beyond surface-level coping. EMDR Intensives are short-term, focused treatment options designed for clients who want to make significant progress in a shorter period of time Please see the “Therapy Intensives with Kristen” tab for more information.
Availability for intensives is limited and scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. To get started, you can either complete the “contact us” form or request an appointment for an intensive through our client portal.
When you request an appointment through our client portal, you will first be asked to complete a brief form that gathers your reason for seeking care and mental health history. After that, our office will follow up with a few additional pre-screening questions to ensure we’re a good therapeutic fit before confirming your appointment.
