Hosea Counseling Services serves a range of clients that present a variety of unique circumstances. However, there is a common thread, they are not reaching their full potential due to traumatic events that have happened to them. We work together to help you heal and get you where you want to be!
My practice is structured around extended 90-minute therapy sessions and focused intensives. This longer-session model allows for deeper, more intentional work, more emotional space, and greater therapeutic momentum than traditional weekly sessions. It is especially supportive for clients working through trauma, chronic stress, emotional patterns, and life transitions who are ready for meaningful change rather than surface-level coping alone.
We offer individual counseling to address the following areas:
Relationship issues, Anxiety, Depression, Trauma and PTSD, Sexual Abuse, Divorce, Infidelity, Bipolar Disorder, OCD and much more!
During our initial meeting we will discuss your specific areas of concern and assess if we are the right client/therapist fit. From here, we will be able to create your personalize treatment plan and discuss how it can best work into your day-to-day life.

Rates & Insurance
Private Pay Rates for Kristen Keene, LPC:
- Individual Session: $160 per 60 minute session
- Extended Individual Session: $225 per 90 minute session (typically scheduled twice per month, with frequency adjusted based on clinical needs and goals)
- EMDR Intensive Package 1 (Intake, 3 hour intensive, Follow-Up): $850
- EMDR Intensive Package 2 (Intake, 6 hour intensive (2 days, 3 hours each), Follow-Up): $1300
- EMDR Intensive Package 3 (Intake, 9 hours intensive (3 days, 3 hours each), Follow-Up): $1800
Payment plans are available upon request for Therapy Intensives:
- 50% due prior to Intake session & other 50% due prior to Intensive.

Insurance:
I am a private-pay provider and no longer accept insurance for new clients.
Please note the cancellation policy. If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay a $80 cancellation fee due to this time being specifically held for you.
